[even LA is in SAG] 8:46 PM

The best part about "old LA" is that it isn't LA at all, but a hodgepodge of history. When all the old oil barons moved out to the west, the first thing they did was try to rebuild the east, or make an idealized version. Because of this fact, my part of town is pretty awesome.

Turn down one block and you feel like you've hopped over to Boston, another and you're in Connecticut, and my block is like someone lifted a chunk of Manhattan and plopped it down off Wilshire. Apparently, I'm not the only one that thinks this, as today I got a Notice of Filming for CSI: New York.

I'm still uncertain why CSI: NY or Miami film in LA, but I take great pleasure in reading the notice that informs residents that "loud official sounding noises" will occur and "weapons will be brandished."

Hey Kyle,
If The Ambassador demolition is right outside your window then you are just a couple of blocks away from the Sienfeld apartment building.
LA isn't a "great big freeway" it's a great big set.
