seeing this tonight. Probably a poor choice for a first date, but screw 'em, boys come and go, Steve Carell's doe eyes will always be there for me.

i acutally think it's a great date movie...

update: yes... yes it was.

am i the only one who thought it was only OK? it was SUCH a mess from a linear perspective -- like 20 different movies got edited together.

and yes, i laughed aloud a number of times, but it just wasn't as good as people are raving about it.

i just think expectations were very skewed for it, and i for one didn't expect as much heart from it as it had in the end ... i've seen so many movies that barely delivered what they promised, that to have something exceed my expectations was quite nice indeed.
