[runabout] 09:30 PM

I get such an idiotic feeling of glee of having to run errands and knowing where I'm going.

I did all of my Sundance shopping today, and miraculously got everything I needed for the trip for $300 — including a new suitcase and a ski jacket on sale for $27. Score.

Taken from a Safer Place:

1. What is the total amount of music files on your computer?

23.61 GB (5,116 songs) exist on Race Bannon, and 14.5 GB of those (3,195 songs) find a second home on Ian the iPod.

2. The CD you last bought is:

The last physical CD I purchased was Want Two by Rufus Wainwright. The last digital purchase was Emma Bunton's Free Me EP off of iTunes.

3. What is the song you last listened to before reading this message?

Rocket Brothers by Kashmir

4. Write down 5 songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you:

Some songs are like tattoos, they help you remember events and thoughts, and help you suck it up when you start feeling like a loser.

Don't Panic (EP Version) Coldplay
I Believe In You by Kylie Minogue
Taxi Ride Tori Amos
Sweet Pain Cree Summer
Pussy Control Prince

5. Who are you going to pass this stick to? (3 persons) and why?

Paul, because he'll take any opportunity he can to write about Eric Prydz
Jerry, because I like someone writing about music not even I've heard of
Brian, because he's the lil indie boyscout that could

Big fan of your art whose last cd purchase was also Want Two = me.

want (two) rocks.

i'm on the dvd! about 20 minutes in, there's a street scene with rufus looking at the camera and someone shouting from the sidelines (in san fran, outside of the virgin music store) "rufus is a god"
I had been on a biz trip and had seen him from across the street. i hadn't realize there was a camera crew around, and i felt terrible afterwards thinking i had screwed up some music video.
