[summer roadshow: philly and points north] ^{12:35 PM}

We were going to have lunch with 2 friends in Philly, but thanks to pointless Philly traffic and horrible roadways, one of our friends has to go back to work before we even get within parking distance. People in Philly are anti-friendly, rude, and most of the men appear to be 9 months pregnant.

While seeing our friend Kristen was great, we couldn't get out of Philly fast enough (Murphy spent the entire time shaking and wigging out in general). Getting out of Philly is just as tricky as getting into it. If Kentucky is the state I have the least desire to go back to on the trip, then so far Philly is the city I never want to go to again.

We hit Jersey, New York (very weird to drive through Manhattan after being there three weeks ago), Connecticut, Massachusetts and finally get to Chez Baudet in New Hampshire, our port for the next 3 days until the Boston wedding on the 9th.
