[the super update] ^{12:37 PM}

My my my, hasn't time passed without any real news...

I've been hard at work on a Very Big Job (VBJ). It's going very well, and I finally have some room to breathe. My days and nights were dominated by revisions and waiting to hear back from the ad agency and the client (who was in Spain), so I've been getting phone calls at all hours. In the middle of all of this...

...our watermain exploded! In the midst of installing a tankless water heater (one of Boy's dreams for the past year) and a water softener, all thanks to a faulty valve. Thankfully, most of the damage was in the kitchen and laundry room, and NOT on our hardwood floors. Still it took days to repair and clean-up, and got so messy wound up staying in a hotel (we spoiled ourselves and went to the Standard downtown).

Of course, in the middle of all this I was working on the VBJ and also prepping some art for a show. In then end the show wound up with some older prints (printed amazingly nicely and framed) and my half-finished canvases went off to be used in a short film.

The house is still a wreck, but thankfully not a muddy wreck. Also thankfully not a wreck: me after the wedding we went to last night. Champagne. Delightful.
