[who, what, when, where] 6:07 PM

In addition to creating one of the best sci-fi shows on TV, the british also have a lovely habit of Christmas Day specials, and the new Doctor Who one did not disappoint. It seems I'm always on an airplane during climactic Who episodes, excitedly shifting about in my chair.

I'm in Kansas City now for New Year's with Boy's family, after a rewarding but exhausting jaunt in Houston for the holiday. I have a really big family, and when they all get together it takes a lot out of you.

Hope your holidays went well and that you're curled up somewhere nice until 2007 (at which point I will stop writing 05 and accidentally start writing 06).

I cried at the end of Dr. Who, it was that good. David Tenant is doing a great job as the Doctor.

BBC says: Earlier this month Tennant was named the best Doctor in a poll of 4,000 readers of Doctor Who magazine, beating Tom Baker into second place.
