For the most part, LA shuts down over the holidays, so I've spent the past week and a half living off savings and constructing my Christmas presents. It was quite a long and elaborate process, but I've just finished putting the stamps on all the envelopes. Stamps are expensive. Hopefully no one will mind if their holiday gift arrives after Christmas day.
Last night, Acker, Blacker, Julie, Lucia and Jason came over for coffee, pie, a small gift exchange, and to watch Animals in the Womb in HD. Have you seen that shit? Evolutionary madness. It is the awesome.
I wish everything shut down around here for the holidays - I am drowning in year-end work stuff and still have half of my/Stephen's family to buy for.
(Yes, I realize that I am complaining about being busy and instead of doing something about it am surfing peoples' sites.)
