August 23, 2006[carded] 2:04 PMIf one were to buy a greeting card with this image on it, which would you prefer? The painted collage on the left, or the more graphic digitally assembled image on the right? Comments
Left. Posted by: Jason at August 23, 2006 2:59 PMThe dark bats are lost on the left. Red bats stand out on the right. B&W coloring at the right contrasting with the red is better. Posted by: mac at August 23, 2006 3:19 PMfor a greeting card, the one on the right. Posted by: dean at August 23, 2006 3:36 PMleft. no question. Posted by: martha at August 23, 2006 4:10 PMThe right seems more gretting-cardish. Posted by: Alden at August 23, 2006 5:14 PMnot to even the score or anything, but i prefer the one on the left...both are nice, but i would buy the one on the left... Posted by: ryon at August 23, 2006 5:43 PMI prefer the one on the left as an image. But, as a greeting card, definitely the one on the right. It reads better. The red bats really pop and the boy contrasts better with the background giving you a more immediate impression of what is going on. Posted by: K1rk at August 23, 2006 8:23 PMPS - I'm going to need invitations for my Halloween party. Are these really going to be cards soon? Posted by: K1rk at August 23, 2006 8:24 PMI ... was a lefty but I like the right now. Posted by: David at August 24, 2006 12:43 AMFor a greeting card, the one on the right. Posted by: Chuck at August 24, 2006 8:20 AMI like the one on the left because the colors are nicer. I'm a sucker for purdy colors! Posted by: Mickey M at August 24, 2006 9:30 AMi like how you have to really look for the bats on the left, its like a surprise or an i-spy pic, while the right is just to ... blah ...
