The Christian right would have you believe that Los Angeles is an epicenter of evil. I don't think that's true, since I think at the moment its hotter than hell.

Yeah um ... I'm missing my childhood ... we had a pool. Taking mid-day showers just isn't as fun.

I live about an hour inland from you (where your smog goes). The temperature here is almost just ridiculous enough to make me want to retreat from the elements and quit smoking. Fortunately the inherent health benefits of cigarettes and smoking vastly outweigh the discomfort felt sweatng outside. I read that... somewhere. Right?
