Who wants some nostalgia?

Today while looking through some of my folders I came across a lot of my old comics, ones from way back when. Back when boywonderkyle.com was a blog, back from when sparkology.net existed (and then didn't, thanks to the host server), all the way up to now. I've spent the past 2 hours resizing and compositing these things, but I won't post everything all at once.

First up is a "best of" compilation of my dear otters, who to this day inch closer to a book.

Aesthetically they're quite amusing, given that you can tell when I had free time and when I didn't based on the quality of the work. You'll also my notice my schizo use of ink, color, and layout over the years. Yes, years. Otters off and on for 3 years. One would hope I could tackle them on a more regular basis.

I guess about a year ago the guys from Art Prostitute contacted me about putting a comic in their upcoming issue. I did one, but to this day I have no idea if they actually used it or not:

God, it seems like just a dozen or so months ago when we were walking around DC and you said you were going to be otter comics..... has that really been 3 years? that horrifies me.

and I still fucking love the two otters strips that I played the leading role in.

this is going to sound creepy, but I found sparkology somehow years back and fell in love with the otters, I was in highschool and I printed them out and stuck them on my notebooks, and recommending your site to others.

that feels like such a long time ago to just be following the life of someone I don't even know...

Has it really been three years? Crazy.

I still have my otter shirt with them all dancing under multi-coloured lights.

And there must be something in the air, because I recently /randomly spent a few hours at The Wayback Machine reading old blog posts from 2003. Nostaliga, nostalgia. :)
