January 31, 2006[on the road again] 1:41 PMBoy and I have taken an impromtu trip up to San Fransisco to visit his Uncle's house, which is magically perched on the site of a cliff just north of the Bay. After an amazing sunset and a great dinner, Boy and I climbed into the hottub under a night sky, where I saw more stars than I think I've seen in my entire life. And shooting stars. And twinkly stars. And stars so bright we're pretty sure they were planets. We think we found Jupiter with our naked eyes. Nothing makes you relax a little bit than getting away from home, and nothing makes you feel more at peace (or in awe) than a clear night sky. Comments
There really is nothing quite like a night sky with lots and lots of stars. But location really does matter... try Maine in Autumn. Crisp air, crazy-beautiful foliage, and amazing night skies...
