The Mighty Jack has passed along the link and info that the Dreamgirls site has gone live with a teaser trailer and a sparkly sign.
I must say I'm excited for this one, and not just because I've seen audition footage, but because Bill did such a good job adapting Chicago on the page. Who knows what he can do when he's in control of the stage, too?
I saw Dreamgirls at the Mechanic Theater in Baltimore several years ago at the Sunday matinee. At the end of act 1, all of the blue haired ladies had their fingers over their ears and as I walked past them at intermission waiting to empty their coloscopy bags I overheard them saying, "Did she really have to sing so loud?"
It was deafening really....and awesome. I can't wait too. Any word whether Frenchie Davis is in it?
