[3Dium] ^{2:40 AM}

It began innocently enough. First we received notice that Medium was shooting around the corner, and then we read that November sweeps would bring a 3-D episode. Given that we never really watch Medium, no further thought was given to the stunt until one night at a birthday party it occurred to Boy that he has an HD signal, and therefore gets NBC in High Definition. HD NBC begets HD 3-D MEDIUM. A round of phone tag ensued. Boy borrowed an D-VHS player (which records a 5.1 1080i signal onto videotape — something I still can't wrap my head around). We bought special TV Guides that had the 3-D glasses, and tonight we all gathered in wine, fellowship, and 3-dimensions.

All of this for four 3-D segments, one of which was a re-edit of a previous segment!

I can't really complain though, how often do you get to sit around with friends and impersonate Margot Kidder?
