November 6, 2005[confession] 9:45 PMStand out tracks include the unshakable single Hung Up, the rumored follow up single Sorry and Let It Will Be. Solid jams include Push, Jump, Like It Or Not and How High, with Get Together being my only "eh." Oddly enough, Confessions on a Dancefloor feels like a prelude to Ray of Light and Music, while simultaneously working as a follw-up to American Life (which despite what many say, is still an excellent collection of music). Well worth your money come 11/15, and your dancing feet will thank you. Comments
plus: pink & orange, two colors i LOVE to put together. god love her. Posted by: Julie at November 6, 2005 10:22 PMi listened to the album today. it's not bad. it's surprisingly disposable... but it's not bad. i don't care what anyone says, i think that american life was her best album in ages. the songs were different from one another and they were actually about something. it will be great in clubs but it's useless as substantial music. (which is what she lead us to believe she was going to be creating from now on a few years ago when she was working the PR circuit in her serious brown hair for American Life.) and as for the cover.... it's sparkles and it's cute. but she looks like Vitamin C's mother for fucks sake. Posted by: andrew at November 6, 2005 11:09 PMI try to tell people that I know the new madonna album is going to be huge cuz all the gay bois won't stop talking about it.... nobody believes me... Posted by: David at November 7, 2005 5:00 AMMadonna shouldn't speak in toungues...her pronounciation is always horrible..and that's my only complaint...so far. Posted by: schtzo at November 7, 2005 5:40 PMcall me! Posted by: meganmc at November 7, 2005 6:18 PMWhat I love about what I've heard so far is the relentless energy and harmony in the songs. Gives me hope that dance music could return to it's mid 90's heights. Certainly makes me want to go out clubbing again... Posted by: Greg at November 7, 2005 6:54 PMPost A Comment
