Though nothing substantial has come from my latest round of meetings (yet), you can't claim that they aren't interesting. Running into someone like Craig McCracken is in the realm of possible (it happened!), but running into Andre 3000 (clad in bright green cammo) is just unexpected.

Such is the nature of LA: We won't give you what want, but we'll throw in something to make your frustration more colorful.
