Posted by: Greg at October 15, 2005 12:56 AMonce you eek past the first few episodes (the pilot, contrary to what many think, is FAR from a masterpiece) it has a little bit of everything. It's both drama, comedy, AND a dramedy. it's funnier than most sitcoms on tv, and can at times evoke more emotion. It's a procedural and a serial. It takes unexpected turns, it's clever, and you never ever pity the leads, which is possibly it's strongest point.
it's also damn pretty. the thing is shot like heaven.
