I'm not quite sure how many people read books like I do, but when I read I read in Technicolor. In 35mm. Anamorphic, Superbit, 5.1 surround sound. I see a book. It is because of this mental-visual process that Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone let me down, and why Dan Savage's The Commitment is the best romantic comedy I've ever seen.

Not only do I highly recommend it, but I'm possibly moments away from Amazon-ing it to my mother (which is just ... well, you can insert your own adjective and it would probably be accurate).

Did you read "The Kid"? Another great one by Mr. Savage Love.

I've read all the Savage books, and this book is quite surpringly a giant sequel to the Kid, with DJ playing a "pivotal role."

In many ways, this book is the culmination of all of Savages books, from the odd histories of GAMORRAH, to the winding tales of THE KID, to the blunt and simple explanations of SAVAGE LOVE.

I've just given my copy to the boyfriend... let's hope the book rubs off on him *evil grin*
