September 13, 2005[tv roundup] 9:37 PMWeeds has proven to be a deeply uneven show, but good summer background noise. We'll see if I make any attempt to watch it now that the new season is starting. Rome has the worst opening title sequence and is a disgrace to HBO. The series itself, I just can't get into. The OC was ... whatever. Way to tread water. 3 more episodes then a hiatus for Baseball. See you in November, Cohen. Prison Break is starting out okay. I'm only 23 minutes into the pilot, but at least visually it looks like Brett Rattner won't fuck-up my X-Men. We like Wentworth Mmmmiller, and it has Jessalyn Gilsig!! My mother called me yesterday about the power outtage. It seems some news outlets were hinting at terrorist attack, when in truth someone (undoubtedly fired) cut the wrong cable and wonked the power grid. Judging by the traffic on La Brea and 3rd street during my drive home, Los Angeles is seriously screwed in case of an attack. Or an earthquake. The city is schizophrenic enough when everything is "working." Comments
DC is the same way - sheer panic when its overcast. One more week for LOST season premiere. YIPEE!! Posted by: Michael at September 14, 2005 11:36 AMI guess, from the example set in New Orleans, every major city is pretty much fucked in its own special way. I wonder what will happen in Chicago.
