September 30, 2005[too much to ask] 1:07 AMI suppose it was too much to ask. Given that both Lost and Desperate Housewives obliterated the sophomore season curse (Yes, I'm looking at you Ally McBeal and Boston Public), West Wing came back with a certain zip, 2 Law & Orders shared Lynda Carter, Gilmore Girls carried on its momentum from last season, and that Prison Break exceeded expectations, it was just too much to ask that Smallville and Alias not suck this year. Honestly. Really. I gave you a whole summer to fix things. To have new ideas. To branch out, to strive for change. I'm especially disappointed in you, Smallville. You've now got James Marsters, the Fortress of Solitude, Aquaman, and you had a trip to Sydney to visit the set of Superman Returns. Instead of Smallville: The Rise of Superboy, I get Smallville: Lana Lang Falls Down Repeatedly. And Alias? If I could cancel you myself, I would. I also find Invasion to be incredibly lame, so if ABC could find something pretty bitchin for midseason wednesdays, I'd appreciate it. Comments
Well I actually like Invasion, it is much better than Threshold. I don't think I'm watching CBS at all this year. Oh, and ABC ... aliens in swamps eating people in Florida? Like I would care. Posted by: David at October 1, 2005 4:49 AMi checked back onto your site to see what you thought.... i would've like it more if i believed anything actually happened. "Vaghn" is dead? Yeah, until sweeps, maybe. They've pretty much wasted all their credit with me, and i'm a bit bitter about it. Posted by: kyle at October 1, 2005 1:01 PMPost A Comment
