[the wind done blown] 3:17 PM

After 4 hours of stressful phone call attempts home, I finally go through to my parents and eventually everyone else. Everyone I know, who are quite far inland, are hunkering down. It's quite impossible to get out now, since the roads are completely conjested and cars are running out of gas while sitting on the highways. Everyone has food, water, and supplies, and are perfectly ready for the power to go out for a day or two.

My mother assures me she has plenty of Corona and wine, and if anything FEMA needs to only send limes.

Anyways, I've been thinking about your family & friends since I saw the news the other day. I'm glad to hear everyone is quite inland, and that your mother is well stocked. (Hilarious!)

Mother Nature is pissed off about something, it seems. :(

btw, just a fact, last time some people decided to have a "hurricane party" they all died, except for a baby.... that came up in my textbook when i did a course in natural disasters. and btw i <3 boy too :)
