[flight] ^{1:11 PM}

I had an airplane book when I was a kid. I got it when I was probably 3 or 4 to coincide with my first plane flight. The book was a fully illustrated gripping account of what it's like to travel on a plane, and what the parts of an aircraft were.

Up until last night, I'd never been on a plane like the one depicted in the book, and it had been eating away at me for over 20 years. But last night, last night I took that flight that my book had promised me.
