So I'm reading this story about foreign aid regarding Katrina Fallout, and I find myself getting sorta emotional.

My mind can't really comprehend a Cajun Atlantis, nor can it fathom that countries (even France!) are offering assistence after all the schoolyard pranks "we've" done over the past few years.

Dear Mr. President,
You are Hilary Duff. France is Linday Lohan. Iraq is Aaron Carter. When Lindsay Lohan offers to forget Aaron Carter and offer you some aircraft, take it.

Yours,
Kyle

Dear Mr. President,
You are still Hilary Duff but you have now waited too long to accept Lindsay's offer. Everyone is now taking a good look at you and realizing the limits of your talent. Hilary, this is called a "career tipping point". Your records are going to stop selling. From now on it is merely a slow downhill slide until you hear that thud called the E! True Hollywood Story. Many will realize the pridefullness and arrogance of your folly but years from now most will say... Hilary who?

In all of my travels I (as a recognized American in foreign lands) have always been treated with a great deal of hospitality and politeness. Most Europeans and non-Americans recognize that the current idiot residing in the White House is a stupid dumbass and not generally representative of Americans as a whole.

The great generosity of mankind is that it generally comes to the overwhelming aid of it's neighbors when in need regardless of nationality, or as a consequence of the shortcoming of leaders less than capable of leading in the first place.
