[saved by the bell?] 2:02 AM
Why is it that on TV shows kids never seem to expect the bell to ring? I don't know about you, but when I was in school, there was an at least 3 minute countdown, with the teacher telling us to get away from the damn door.
I remember the same damn thing also. TV is fake.

Posted by: Cloe at August 27, 2005 1:06 AMI could give a long dissertation on how most TV writers are nerd types and either loved class and/or more than likely feared the bell as the starting gun for hall torment and humiliation... but then it might seem like I'm revealing something about myself, which I am not... It wasn't like that for me... no, not at all... I loved that damned bell... Loved it I tell ya!!!

In fact, I don't remember what we had... maybe it was an electronic buzzer?

Posted by: kyle at August 27, 2005 8:36 PMI remember in arly elementary it was a actual bell combined with the tone over intercom. Then and from then on it was just the tone, and teacher threatening extra work and detentions for anticipating he bell the last 3 min of class.
