[revamp] 11:40 PM
Sometimes you just need a change. Over 9 months into living in LA, something had to give with my apartment. I've been on the borderline of pulling a Felicity and chopping my hair, but instead I've spent most of the week doing permutations of furniture arrangements. In the end all that really changed was the position of my bed and some re-arrangement of wall art.
I thought I'd lost a bunch of my posters during the coast-to-coast move, so color me surprised when I went into "my room" at my parent's and saw a giant tube sitting there. "Oh, you wanted those?" my mother asked. Deep inside, Little Bitch Kyle said, "No, I just moved to a new city with more wall space than I've ever had before, so I think I'll start from scratch." But we love mom more than shrinky-dinks, so we didn't say that.
They arrived this morning at 9am (yes, on saturday morning) and I decided that since it's a studio, it really is just a glorified dorm room with it's own bathroom. Therefore, Jack & Bobby now live in the kitchen, my bed is 90º from where it was before, and I'm the coolest R.A. ever.
Your head is by a window! That's bad feng shui!
(Like you care, though... I'm sure the cool breeze at night is better than any amount of properly-circulated chi...)
