Karaoke in gay bars is fantastic, but for the tone-deaf novice like myself, a bit intimidating. I prefer walking into a dive bar and seeing a 45 year old asian woman mumbling "Black Velvet" more that I like walking into a gay bar and seeing 25 year old doing a shockingly pitch-perfect rendition of "I Believe in a Thing Called Love."
