Nick @Nite just had its Movie Of The Week week where they played a bunch of great TV movies from the 70s and 80s. Having just watched Sybil (Sally Field is beyond amazing and it totally holds up) and then looking at the two photos you posted-- it all makes sense. Sybil had many "others" who were all children who appeared as her personality shattered to help her cope. This would perfectly explain Tom's recent behavior. An obnoxious tween heterosexual "personality" has taken over and is running the show. While all of the "others" seemed to band together to protect "Tom" from the threat known as Matt Lauer. Thank you Kyle, your brilliant observation of the ironic red weed connection has made the past couple months of insanity finally click into place for me.
