The San Diego post is taking some time, but it's coming...

I didn't want to start reading Harry Potter VI until I knew I had time to dedicate to it. I don't read HP books, I devour them, on average it takes 2 days, sometimes only 1. I was completely exhausted this afternoon, but decided to try "just the first chapter."

I'm on Chapter 8 now, loving it immensely, and the only thing that will tear me away is a pizza party.

Comments

well this is reason to comment... normally a quiet reader, but i have to hear your thoughts on the book when it is over because i finished on monday and i've been dying to hear what someone else thought without finding some obsessive forum or bugging people who read more slowly. ... anyway, i don't remember how i stumbled upon your site but i think your artwork is beautiful, and it keeps me coming back. :)

Do you wonder if the terror attacks in London are really the work of Death Eaters and we've just all had our memories modified to remember it differently?

Jessica, I feel the exact same way as you do. I love HP, and like Kyle, devour the new books when they appear. (I had finished mine on saturday afternoon) it would be so nice to be able to discuss the books with those that have a shred of maturity, instead of teenies that just l33t everywhere like a faulty hose. I liked the book, I don't think its my favourite, but it would be nice to talk about. I'm starting to dislike Harry more and more as each book progresses, his stubborness/Draco obsession drives me crazy.
