[who IS the boss?] 3:45 AM

Okay, so I've never really liked Who's the Boss?, but earlier today it was on and I forgot to change the channel.

Can someone please explain this show to me? I thought Tony Danza was the handyman, hired help, yet Danny and Alissa are calling him "Dad?" Tony calls Judith Light "Angela?" Then later in the series they wind up getting together? I ran this by a few people at the houseparty I went to today, and no one there could figure it out either. What the hell was this show about?!

kyle, we were roommates for like what, 2.6 years? and you know that i've seen every single episode of the show, you'd think that you would have asked for a basic rundown ages ago.

tony lived with his daughter samantha in queens. after the death of his wife (sam's mother) tony decided to get a job (and live) in connecticut so that his darling daughter could attend a better school.

angela (judith) was living with her one son after her husband had essentially left them (tony was under the impression that he had died but he had actually just been on safari for years)

in later years, angela and sam grew quite close because angela had always wanted a little girl. and while nature got pretty close by giving her johnathan... she aparently needed and *actual* vagina on her child and not just an emotional one.

she reluctantly gave tony the job (what with her hating men and all) and allowed tony and samantha to move in.

and then follow that with years and years of sexual tension.... and then ruin it in the end by having them get together and then somehow make tony a college football coach in iowa or something like that.

and all the while, they never managed to address what a huuuuuuuuuuge fag little danny p. was.

No mention of Mona, Andrew??

She MADE that show.

well, while i totally agree with you, i thought the introduction of Mona into the conversation would only prove to confuse things. Mona is only for seasoned viewers of the show.
