[sci-fi summer] 2:13 AM

Being that saturday was officially called "Super Lazy Saturday," I spent the majority of it watching USA Law & Order SVU marathon. Because of SVU I was bombarded with tv spots for The 4400, and I admit, I bit. I'm on the last episode of the first season/mini-series, and I have to say it fucking rocks. I now can't wait for the season premiere this sunday.

Sure it's Rising Stars-esque, but that's a plus, not a minus.

Then monday gives me the final (sniff) season of Six Feet Under, and July 15th is the official launch of season two for Battlestar Galactica.

Summer's looking up.

5 Reasons The 4400 is aces:
1. Patrick Flueger and Chad Faust
2. René Echevarria and Ira Steven Behr run the show. They also took care of DS9, the most fascinating of all the Star Trek series (Ronald D. Moore, who also kept house on DS9 now heads Battlestar)
3. It features such guest stars as David Eigenberg (Steve from Sex and the City!), Kathleen Wilhoite (Chloe from the glorious first two seasons of ER!), and Lee Tergesen (Beecher on Oz!)
4. It comes on sunday nights, a vacant evening of nothingness (SFU is on mondays now!)
5. It takes place in Seattle, and everyone knows real mysteries happen in the Pacific-Northwest

kathleen wilhoite has a great cd out called "pitch like a girl." my favorite song, if you're in the mood for downloading, is "look but don't touch."

I've always loved "wish we never met"

Come one now, new Family Guy and American Dad on Sundays! The void's filling up! (...can you even fill a void? I think that defeats the purpose...bah!)

contrary to the rest of the male species, family guy doesn't often do it for me. I like it in small doses when I catch it on Adult Swim...

Question; is it a new one, or the initial one with several episodes on one DVD? Because I rented that one a little while back and totally loved it! Though the final episode felt rushed, and nearly killed the interest in a second season/release for me.

Sorry; I was referring to 4400.

Yeah frank, sunday is the second season, which is more than 6 episodes. The first 6-episode season IS rerunning before the premiere tho.
