War of the Worlds in a Nutshell: Amazingly strong and incredibly weak vignettes poorly strung together. Worth a matinee, not $11.50.

I agree, great acting on Dakota Fanning's part, but otherwise, less than I expected.

$11.50- ouch! Only $8.25 here in Tucson. Tim Robbins was the best reason to see the movie.
