Let's just say, hypothetically, that your friend has won an Emmy award. And let's say when he gets back in town he has a party ... do you bring a congratulatory gift to the party?

Comments

I think you ask if you can hold it.

Hey Kyle, I'll sell you a picture of Shredder (TMNT) for a penny.

-Guess who

hmm guess who ... did i go to first grade with you??

Chocolate. Can't go wrong with chocolate. A chocolate emmy ... life sized ... that you can swap with the real one... nobody will know ... and then you surprise them with the knowledge that emmys are filled with chocolate!

Hey Kyle, randomly came across your site and just wanted to see how you were. I'm keeping the Shredder pic by the way.

Is your friend named Christian, Greg, or David? If so, WOW! Greg...oh my! What about giving your friend one of your Paintings, Illustrations, and/or Drawings preferably framed and wrapped. Can't think of a better gift you could give (except for a porn tape of you).

btw: Christian LeBlanc, whom i mentioned in my previous post, of The Young and The Restless is an artist as well and is currently writing and illustrating a childrens book (or has already).

Regular Emmy--Yes, bring something expensive, in fact, i would shamelessly kiss every ass in the house.

Daytime Emmy--Stay home and stare at the wall...it will be more fun than hanging with Kelly Rippa

hey Kurt!

chris: he already has more than enough of my paintings

Your coming to the party and taking a moment to sincerely congratulate them (and then getting out of the way so others can do the same) is probably thanks enough. If this person has a significant other, you may want to bring a host(ess) gift for them as a token for your appreciation for the party. But that's it.

Silus Grok,
You're a party pooper. You had to go and get all serious and stuff. Let me tell ya, you're no Martha. Pooty Butt!

P.S. You're right of course. (A Horse is a Horse, of course of course...)

Posted by: Christopher at May 22, 2005 4:33 PM

Ah, come on! Kyle asked... I answered. I'm guessing the question wasn't serious, but someone had to eventually _answer_ the question.
