A Series of Unfortunate Events was phenomenal . I kick myself for not seeing it in the theatre, and I applaude Meryl Streep for having such a good time on camera.
Also, go watch the trailer for March of the Penguins. Either penguins are perpetually spunky and amazing (as I seriously suspect), or this is the luckiest documentary film crew ever.
I'm sorry, I just despise Jim Carey. He ruins every movie he's in for me.

(John-- usually Jim Carey makes me ill as well, but for some reason I thoroughly enjoyed him in this film. Maybe it's because the other characters shone just as brightly and it wasn't just 90 mins. of him being super-manic.)
