I love this painting, wish i could afford it! Posted by: Giuseppe at May 14, 2005 2:36 AMFrom the looks of things, if that is indeed the Empire State Building, this poor boy is taking a spire in the rear. Although, some may feel differently. Posted by: JP at May 14, 2005 4:10 AMor you just infer: A. He ripped it off and plunged into the masses below What do you use to apply the paper to the painted canvas? Some sort of adhesive, I presume, but which one? Posted by: Steven at May 15, 2005 2:25 PMit's an acrylic glaze that I coat both sides with, thus sealing him in foreverandever. Posted by: kyle at May 15, 2005 4:30 PMNeat! When I did it, I used rubber cement... it was so much fun to play with. You just smear it all over both sides, then let them dry. Then you press and seal. The cool part is, once you've got the seal you want, you can rub off the excess cement to no damage to your piece. It's SO much fun... try it. Posted by: Steven at May 15, 2005 7:36 PMyeah, i've done that before. The Bonus to glazing: splattered paint can be easily wiped away. And wine. Because, y'know...
