Matt, Me, Jason's back, and Paul via Brian's phone

It is HOT in Los Angeles. Scorchy, cloudless hot, and yet still people come. Houseguest UK Matty is still with me, and yesterday Brian and Jason arrived from DC (though they're not staying at my place).

After a failed night at Akbar on friday, I was determined to go somewhere for drinks with everyone (including Paul) and have it be enjoyable (at least in the eye candy department). You never really go wrong with the Abbey when it comes to out of town folk, it's kind of like a crash course in Stepford West Hollywood in one building.

After being in town for 5 months, I finally ran into the elusive Groeg — who recognized me in the crowd from my blog pics, which is just ... weird.

I need to eat something...
