I happen to have the fantastic UK Matty staying with me for the week while he attends the E3 Expo (which I may attend as well). Matty writes videogame playbooks, and since he's in town and has work to do his company has seen fit to send an XBox and a PC to my apartment so he can play his games.

We're going to go see Frank Lloyd Wright's Ennis-Brown House, which has been featured on Buffy, the original Vincent Price-a-licious House on Haunted Hill and an S Club 7 music video.

We're going to see Episode III digitally projected at the Arclight dome on thursday. I love the Arclight, and apparently they love Star Wars, because they have "Martial artist sword masters from Master Replicas present live lightsaber duels using glowing blades and digital sounds taken directly from the films. Stormtroopers (and Darth Vader) from the 501st Legion oversee the Jedi duels. Duels take place in the plaza every hour after dark, Wednesday through Saturday, May 18-21."

Plus, a "special opening celebration on Wednesday, May 18, begins with the 501st marching through Hollywood with arrival at Arclight scheduled for 7pm"

ME: STORMTROOPERS MARCHING!!
LUKE: easy, you're nerding out
LUKE: have you ever seen female genitalia?
ME: yes. they look like facehuggers from Aliens.
LUKE: LOL.
ME: Well they do!

Jason Mraz, I fully support your new makeover:

Yes, come and enjoy E3. Maybe they'll have the AC on by the time you get here. "They" certainly don't waste it on the pre-show working drones. Be sure to stop by the EA booth for some 360º magic.
