April 5, 2005[everyone's a critic] 2:34 AMThis does it for me. This does not. The Charlie poster is so close, but like the teaser poster (with the generic photoshop swirls) this one has a flaw (who said "ok" to the yellow/teal gradient in the logo?!). The ShoWest reel for Fantastic Four goes a long way to making me feel better about the movie, but I still have huge doubts that aren't reassured with the new poster. I really wish Peyton Reed would've stayed on as the FF director I always saw FF as Pillow Talk/Down with Love with super-powers. Sin City was interetsing. Visually amazing, and Elijah Wood was fucking creepy, but I didn't care for the source material, and this direct adaptation didn't form any new relationship for me. I'm glad DC and Wildstorm are re-coloring Watchmen for it's anniversary. I'm a color snob, and really it's kept me from picking up the book. Ironically, digital coloring made me hate Dark Knight Strikes Again (also by Sin's Miller), which is why I really love Marvel's Essential collections (which reprint classic runs, like Paul Smith's X-men run in B&W). After watching the opening titles for FOX's House on Digital Kitchen's website I checked the show out. I really like it, and now I have 16 episodes to watch (which is the benefit of coming to a party late). Shows to Currently Love: Lost Please JJ, let season two be just as amazing as what we're given now. Desperate Housewives I'm astounded the turns the show is taking are "logical" and not making me groan (with the exception of Mama Soliz, which made me both groan and laugh. It was a very weird sound). Boston Legal Please David E. Kelley, break your "I only have enough good ideas for 22 hours" cylce. Please. Eyes Oddly enough, so far these are all ABC shows. That's messed up. I hope that having AJ Langer on the cast isn't some kind of curse. Deadwood I'm halfway through the first season and I'm astounded. I get giddy everytime I remember that Ian McShane has already been awarded for his work. House Oddly enough, I was just telling JP how I didn't care for medical shows anymore...oops. Law & Order SVU I cannot get enough. I get depressed when I realize a rerun on USA is one I've already seen. Law & Order Trial By Jury I really didn't think this would work for me, but boy does it ever. I was expecting a Criminal Intent mis-step, and thankfully the crisis was averted. Battlestar Galactica Hurry back. I've already given Paul your entire first season in hopes of addicting him. Gilmore Girls It seems that whenever I think of pitches for things, they often wander into "It's like Gilmore ________" territory. I can hope this season's rebound can withstand a summer hiatus. The Amazing Race I belong to the "I fucking hate Rob and Amber" camp. I also belong to the "I'm surprised how much I like the Brothers" camp.

I love these first season repeats of Law and Order: SVU. What's up with that forensic analyst lady in the office with that 21 Jump Street hair? :P Posted by: Michael at April 5, 2005 7:50 PMI miss Dean Winters.
