The following two sets of journals were drawn during my trip to Vancouver, BC over the '05 Easter weekend (March 25-28). Most of these were drawn while I was intoxicated. In the case of the dancing boys, they were drawn in the club, while I was intoxicated. Part of me wishes I had drawn more to document my trip, but I was too busy having fun.

I wake up at 4am after going to bed at 2:45. I look forward to plane napping.

My first time on a "puddlejumper" with a woman who would surely be played by Mary-Louise Parker.

Landing in Seattle and Vancouver, I find myself encountering "real people" for the first time in months. Old people! Fat people! People of all shapes and sizes! Oh, diversty, how I've missed you!

Luke and I agree Canadian men are the best. Upon landing we bust into Canadian heat, craving hot boys with accents. Indie rockers and metrosexuals with hearts of gold. Le sigh.

Luke orders a latte that arrives piping hot with random cinnemon on top. He makes a great face while attempting to drink it.

Luke and Mr. Pillow cuddle.

The go-go boy was on something, and didn't know what to do during a beat break in "I Believe in You." So he did the robot.

Over coffee Luke and I discuss the current state of sci-fi, the lack of imagination, and Hollywood's idea of greenlighting concepts and not characters. We decide to make our own show.

I walk back to the hotel in the rain feeling sorry for myself. I realize how silly this is, and blame it on lack of sleep.

Friday and saturday night we got Celebrities, the only real local game in town for drinks and dancing. Me, Luke, Stewart, Jeff, and his friends from San Diego, Andrew and John. Jeff is only a few metal bars away from being a cage dancer.

I was going to be Vic-bound, but this trek proved too short and whirlwindy, but I hope to make it back up before filming finishes in June!

A go-go boy doing the robot, that's hilarious. Almost made me pee.
