Rockstars, I don't get why the USA have to be the ONLY ones with a different (and not as perty) cover for the HPs.

But then again, I don't get why adults need thier own covers too :-/

I think the American covers are the best, hands-down... the artwork is well-conceived, technically well-executed, and honor the large adult following by not being overtly juvenile.

And perhaps I'm mis-reading your comment, but you should know that almost every edition has their own cover art (I googled "harry potter covers" and got this fan site with Harry Potter cover art examples*)... it's just how the industry works: the company that prints the book in the UK is not the same company in the US — so why should the covers be the same?

The original adult UK versions had the best covers. Nice retro kitsch going on there. Made me happy. Irrelevant to what was going on inside, but that's hardly the point now, is it?

The Attack of the Clones poster was the best of the recent three. In this one a couple of the people look kind of disheveled.
