The two pieces you've posted this week have been two of the best I've seen you do. Being out of school is really agreeing with your artwork. This one is especially nice... but I can't help but wondering... are you okay? "my love runs red" looks like a break-up hug to me... or a couple who's gotten some pretty bad news. And now today... well... like I said, beautiful, but worrying.

Those paintings would be evidence of him being okay. Painting can be cathartic, even if it's from a breakup of the past. Any experience translated through color into image is prozac for an artist. Whether the result suppresses any trauma/disdain or further amplifies it, the guarentee is more energy for one to work from.

His heavy use of red suggests unrequited love, to me. Stabbed through the chest and the close embrace suggest something more connected then being stabbed in the back, surprised by deceit or betrayal.

I thought it suggests that he misses Buffy.

Knowing Ky, the Buffy guess is probably a closer bet.
