[an afterward] 9:12 PM

Went into the office today for the first time. It's not really my office, it's a part-time gig for six weeks. Regardless, I went in to the office and took up residence in conference room (until a desk could be arranged) and got to drawing.

There was a knock on the door, and a little woman asked if they would be disturbing me if they had a quick meeting while I drew at the other end of the table. Obviously that wasn't a problem, it's a huge talbe, so they all walked in and started talking. I got back to drawing, but looked up when I recognized the voice, then the face, then the stack of cd's.

Then Leonard Cohen walked over to me, shook my hand, said what I was drawing was "neat" and gave me a handfull of candy.

Everyday it's something new.

If you haven't checked out his son's band "The Low Millions" yet you should.

I just had Bono's fabulous Zooropa-era cover of Hallelujah going through my head this morning.
