[a mess of a post] 3:56 PM

A friend of mine, Miss Caroline, who I haven't seen in 3 years moved to LA just before I did. I met her my fourth week of my freshman year at UNT. You think you've heard a lot of me being nuerotic? Please, (some of) you have no idea what 18 year old Kyle was like. After much rescheduling, we finally got together for drinks last night. Her boyfriend Darius is great, and she seems really happy, so it was a great way to reconnect all these years later.

Afterwards I made my way (aka: they dropped me off) to the Cat and the Fiddle, which as it turns out is Orson Welles' old house on Sunset. I spent a good chunck of last weekend doing pre-production art and storyboards to help Stewart land his first directing gig. He was supposed to know on sunday, then on monday, and finally everyone got their shit together and gave him the job on tuesday, so last night was celebratory.

Guiness + White Russians + Champagne = My current mental state.

I feel like I'm neglecting you dear blog, but I'm trying to get my life sorted out.

I've realized one of my favorite things is getting a magazine I did work for in the mail. Kitchen Sink No. 9 is out now, featuring an illustration by myself, as well as the nice-as-pie Hope Davis. Somehow she got the gig of illustrating a piece on Boy Meets Boy (the great book, not the shit TV show). I try to hate her, but I can't.

we shall see, we shall see. I'm gung-ho for vancouver, I'm not so full steam ahead about THE YUKON. Soon my padawan...

The YUKON? Wow... if you do go, you'll have to tell me about it. As far as I know, Whitehorse is a myth & threat that Canadian parents use on their naughty children.

Of course, you don't have to go allllll the way north. You can just go halfway, right? Um... right?

I'm looking forward to the possibility of hanging out with you in Vancouver, though-- wouldn't THAT be neat? Hahahha!
