The "shuffle" feature on the iPod is perhaps one of the gadgets greatest innovations. It's like the radio, only with no talking, no commercials and songs you always like. Sometimes the timing can be odd (see: reading Charlie Brown on the metro to Eminem), and sometimes it can be scandalous (see: thrashing about in the elevator to Paula's "Cold Hearted Snake"), but whatever the case maybe, it's still marvelous.

I do want me an iPod for this purpose. I mean, it harkens back to my really hardcore mixtape making days, when I'd fortuitously learn how well Missy Elliot transitions into Chopin which flows brilliantly into Pizzicato Five. I actually only remember the former of those, but the latter seems likely.

Have you figured out the "On the Go Playlist?" I like that feature and just figured it out last night while on the go...go fig.
