[gradulations] 7:09 PM
I've had this ever-present fear for the past few months that, come graduation time it would be revealed by a glitch in the system that I was a credit short or something. Something would prohibit my plans from taking shape.
Impossible.
I just got back from GradFest, which, while sounding a tad tacky, was really really cool. All the major departments of the school were present and I was able to get all forms signed and initialed in 11 minutes in 2 rooms. The Dean signed that shit. I have my cap and gown. I filled out a form about what I wanted my diploma to say.
My work isn't done, I still have stuff to do, but finally, some fucking closure is occuring.

FWIW that fear is a frequent recurrence in many a nightmare far, far beyond the granting of your degree.
