[survival] 9:03 PM

Man, i needed that. No school, good friends, food, and liquor?

Scenes from the Weekend
- Singing Macy Gray at Remington's
- Being the youngest audience members in a packed screening of Kinsey
- Peter Sarsgaard and NC-17
- Deleriously watching old episodes of Six Feet Under where things are just ... weird
- Drinking 4 beers, 1 martini, 2 glasses of red wine, 2 glasses of white and 2 cape cods. And surviving to tell the tale without vomiting or a hangover.
- Watching football. I know, it sounds odd, but it was kinda fun. Kinda.
- Seeing a baby panda being birthed on HDTV. It was horrifying. Truly. Horrifying.
- Going to the International Spy Museum with Kev, Cindy and Oliver.
- "Tag and release"
- Going to the "newly refurbished Chinatown," which now resembles a high class shopping centre with chinese characters below Urban Outfitters and the Ann Taylor Loft.
- Hearing Ian explain just how he got that black eye
- Bumming around Fort Reno with Danny
- I'm watching Desperate Housewives. God, I am Teri Hatcher.

Oh, and just in case you thought you were off the hook John, you're not.

The other night at Blowoff, Johnny turns to me and goes "isn't that the West Wing lady over there?"

I spun so fast it's amazing my clothes stayed on my body, only to see a very NOT Allison Janney. The feelings of disappointment were so strong and powerful I needed another drink and a Gwen Stefani remix. I admit I shed a few tears that were hidden by the low-lighting. Don't toy with me and my Janney. Just don't.

re: the nasty birthing of the panda...

Today at brunch Adrian forced me to cough and sputter from laughing too hard while I was trying to eat. He reminded me of one of my vagina-related Kyle quotes:

"It looked like.... it was BREATHING!!"

I went to the new Chinatown for the first time this weekend too. Pretty and nice, but kind of a depressing mix of homeless panhandlers and rich people.

hrm...my ticket-buyer-credit-card-thing said NC-17. And that I'd have to show my ID at the door. Which obviously didn't happen.
