Time is a ticking down to graduation. I'm hoping to have 90% of things done by this thursday for review and approval so I can begin work on my resume and self promotional materials. It seems like a feasible goal, until you factor in I have class all day wednesday, so really everything needs to near completion by tuesday night ...
If Cars is indeed the final Disney/Pixar collaboration, then I'm so thankful. Thankful that Pixar is making a lemon for Disney as punishment, and thankful that it's being made now, so there's no chance in heaven or hell I'd ever have to do anything related to it should I land a job at the house of the bouncing lamp.
good, i was beginning to think that it was just me. but no, it *does* look like a steaming pile of wank after all! bloody generic talking vehicles. bah.

If they bomb their last film for Disney, they have less clout in their next distribution deal. Not to mention, trust in John Lasseter - he pretty much runs Pixar, and knows what he's doing. I was kind of underwhelmed by the teaser, but remember - it's only a teaser. Remember how *overwhelmed* everyone was for the Episode I teaser?
